I don't think I've ever been this superstitious about anything. I had to wear the top and the necklace I got from my parents when I passed my theory test. I thought it would bring luck. On the bus to the lesson before the test, I realised that I was still wearing my silver necklace I got when I graduated from 9th grade. Since it's a cross/heart/anchore that is supposed to give Faith/Love/Hope I was too affraid to take it off because I thought it would bring luck, and it did. Anyway I started off with the warming-up lesson in the car that is used for the test. I've only driven it once before today, and I took a little while to get used to that car.

We drove to the institute were the test is taken, and my teacher was picked up by a driving school car. There I was all alone and nervouse to the bones. My legs were like jelly so I had to sit down, but of course I couldn't sit still so I walked around the car a bit and checked the tires. I was most nervouse about those things that I felt I hadn't done too much.

The ínspector was friendly and talkative, it made me relax after a while in the car. We drove a bit in Malmö and to Nordanå and Arlöv, then back again. Mum came crying to congratulate me and we drove to the driving school to get my present, a t-shirt. That t-shirt is the most expensive t-shirt I have now, 22745 kronors. A total of 51 lessons plus countryside driving, the risk education (halka), driving in the dark and the actual tests (theoretical and practical).

When we came home, mum and me, mum parked the car gave me her card and told me to buy two ice-creams. So I, alone, drove the car to the store and bought us two ice-creams, drove back and parked the car. Feels great! This made my day. I am actually planning to surprise Emmie today. I hope it comes as a surprise at least.

Hopefully last lesson

In a while I'm on my way to my last, hopefully, driving lesson. I sure hope that the lesson goes good otherwise I'll be hyper nervouse for tomorrow, but I think it will go fine. Or I hope so.

Just ate a bowl of porridge made of oates, mmm.

Procrastination

Had a talk with mum before, about when I'm going to sort out my closet. She knows me too well, and I guess I know myself too. I said I was going to do it today before I go to work. Haha she didn't believe me, and I can't blame her. A fellow IB student is a master of procrastination, and it's bad when it's used to do basic stuff like cleaning out a loset.Now however I don't have much of an excuse, because the sun is hidden behind a sea of thin clouds, it's a bit chilly.

I went inside for a while, but here I am writing a post instead of starting my dirty work. My ambitious is to be done tonight, I guess I won't be able to do that, I can finish it tomorrow before Mirza comes. Or I can just finish it thursday and just put everything away when Mirza's here.

Naah I should really get to it, try to finish off as much as possible.

The sun is back

I woke up 10.30. Wonderful with sleep-ins. I ate breakfast and then helped mum cleaning the entrance to our building, it took us maximum half an hour. Right now I'm torn between the choice if I should clean out my closet, fold and organise my clothes or if I should get outside in the garden and enjoy the sun while I play gameboy. The latter sounds more welcoming.

Besides I can do both, can't I? I don't start work until 19 tonight so I got plenty of time to both sunbath and clean out my closet. if I do sunbath first I might have energy enough to finish the closet before I go to work, because I will feel so much more fresh with some tanned skin.

Hmm sounds like I've already decided what I am going to do, haha. Well the sun here I come!

This is the week!

When my final test will be. Will I be able to drive alone this weekend or not. Who knows? Anyway, before I start rambling about the upcoming week, I'm going to retell the events of the passed week.

I worked monday through friday last week, and I finally got my MDP (Management Developement Program) binder. so I started working with it thursday. I have to make five pre-shift checklists for the front and five for the kitchen. Then I need three MOC's for the kitchen and three for the front. well, let me say this much, i never thought it would be that hard. But also I'm quite proud of my level of cleaness even though it's hectic.

Thursday after work I hanged out with Mirza, we walked through town for a little while, sat down on some benches and after a while decided to go to a park nearby, which happened to be Kongens have. Wow that park is big, it also includes a castle, at least I think it's a castle. What surprised me the most though is my really bad skills of locating where I am. Mirza pointed at a building and asked me if I knew that building, and I didn't believe him when he said it was the restaurant's building. i refused to think that we were so close to work. When we walked back towards norreport station we went past botaniske have, and it's so close to work. I never knew!

Enough of that. Friday and saturday was just days of doing nothing. Well we had dinner guests on saturday, but nothing fancy. Sunday the whole family drove out to the beach in malmö where there was a pretty big event, Malmö city horse show. Those few hours we were there was full of nostalgia feelings. God I miss the horse days. There was a team from my old riding-school.

I'm filled with nostalgia apparently. Yesterday I started playing pokemon red on my gameboy again, and tonight I started a new account on travian. I don't know what's happening to me i just feel like reviving good old memories.

Now to this week. I's a week when I don't work too much. I'm off wednesday because I need to go to bed early and somethings was wrong with my schedule so I got the day off instead. thursday I asked for the day off because I'm taking my driver's test. I am so nervouse right now, imagine how it will feel on the actual day. On wednesday I have my last drivering lesson, hopefully. I was off saturday but I was asked today to take a shift so I did.

I'm also going to meet Mirza on wednesday, and at every possible moment I am going to sunbath. however today the weather is crap. It's pouring down, not that I mind the rain much, but I do like the sun and a tanned body.

Sunbathing/sleeping

Wonderful day to be sunbathing... or sleeping if one wish to do that. I did both. Yesterday I took an extra nightshift, because it was needed, so I worked night together with my sister. What annoys me about doing this is that she's horribly fresh even sunday morning when we get home, so fresh that she decides to stay awake through the day.

Fine, I thought, I'll do the same. What a laugh. with the sun gazing in the garden I took out the sunbed, my cover and I changed into my bikini. All of a sudden my mum was rubbing sunscreen on me, and tells me that she did this because I fell asleep and I needed sunscreen. Fell asleep, pfft, what rubbish. I didn't feel asleep. Later on when I needed some water and to switch side, mum came and showed me pictures of me, clearly sleeping. Obviously I must've been drifting in and out of sleep and awoken every so often so that it felt like I was just sunbathing.

Amazing weekend

My weekend was fun, relaxing, cosy, sunny and and and ... alldeles underbar! (Cinderella quote=) ) I think this was the first weekend in a very loong time when I was off and yet work didn't call even once!

Saturday started off with a nice lay-in. went to denmark and Mirza around 3. We visited this market right next to his house. The weather was good, it was warm and sunny. we strolled around the many tables for an hour or so watching all the tingel tangel (!), smelled the oh-so-familiar doughnut smell mixed with the smell of popcorn, kebab and the other typical market food.I left the market with a new wallet/purse thingy. My sweet boyfriend bought me one of those small.. (well I call it) wallet which almost every danish girl have in their handbag. How many nightshift haven't I fought the urge to ask them where I can buy one? Anyhow the rest of the day we spent talking, watching tv and talking

Yesterday was even more eventful, as we were at Tivoli in copenhagen. With we I mean a whole bunch of people, mostly McD people. It started friday when me and my boyfriend were invited by a co-worker. Then I started rounding up people, even though I'm not much of a roller coaster fan. Anyway I convinced Mirza, Emmie, my sister and her boyfriend to come. We tried to round more people up too but they were too tired because they had been working night. All in all we were 12 people with two other coming by for a few hours. The day was really nice, warm and fun. Even though me and Emmie (most of the time) acted as bag bitches=).

All in all a nice weekend, when one can truly notice that life is finally smiling at you again. My course is almost finished, just need a last test... and my grade of course. I have my driver's test booked for the 29th of May. Nervous! Work's going good, I got a nice fat salary the other day, over 18000 swedish kronors. Last but not least the spring is finally here and summer's not far away.
